Heavy Rainfall Expected in Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali Provinces

Kathmandu: Light to moderate rain is being experienced across several parts of Nepal, with heavy rainfall likely in some areas. According to the Weather Forecasting Division, Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces are currently experiencing light to moderate rainfall, with a few places in the remaining provinces also receiving rain.
The Division reports that the country is mostly cloudy, and this afternoon, there is a chance of light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in the hilly regions and other areas. Heavy rainfall is expected in one or two locations in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
The public is advised to stay alert to the potential risks of flooding and landslides in the affected areas.
